Default passed emissions.....barely

The guy was concerned about smoke at startup....

I told him I'd be much more worried if it didn't smoke.

HC limit here is 86 ppm at 15mph and 156 at 25mph...me? 84 and 150 respectively.

Passed the CO% by the skin of my teeth too.

What a pain in the ***.

Just got mine passed yesterday. I am counting down for when I am exempt. Here in Ga 25 or older cars don't have to have it so I have 3 years left.

Have 2-year stickers in RI, 25 years is supposedly the cutoff for smogging... passed with the original cat on my 84, dragged out the re-sticker from Nov. 06 to Mar. 07... +2 years SHOULD mean I won't have to replace the Pre-Muffler with the cat next time.

My car passed twice (two year stickers) with no cats, now it's exempt. A buddy of mine with a programmable ignition system on his 930 did the test with laptop plugged in. He kept changing the mapping until it passed (while it was still on the dyno) and saved it as his smog setting
