Check out the Hankook Z212's. I have these in the same size you are looking for. I like them. And I use them for autocross too. Very aggressive street tire for under $ 100/each.

Thanks for the information.
Arbeltm, great looking car, just like mine...nineoneone, I like the different color on yours, very different, but sharp...if I could pick another color, that granite green really looks nice.
I got a price from discount tire too, very competitive.
Go targa's with tails.....

Thanks Bob. I think there's a saying... Targas rule, Coupes drool.
I always wish I had a coupe until I take the top off. I'm not a big fan of convertables, so a targa is a great compromise to me.

No idea. They weren't coming up with my tire size package, front and rear...maybe not in stock.
I agree that while the coupes look great, when you remove the top on targa it is a perfect driver..., and not the same drawbacks a cab has(canvas wear and restricted rear visability). Not knocking any of these cars...to each his own, I love them all, but really thrilled over my new targa.

Kumho Ecsta Spt isn't available in 245/45-16, which is the size I need for the 9" Fuchs i'm putting on the rear. Too bad, it has good reviews and pricing seems very reasonable.
I guess i will be going for the Toyo T1R's
