I redoing the leather on my '80 911SC. I was quoted a price of $1,700 for redoing both seats in the "Doric Gray" leather with burgundy piping. This seems high to me. Anybody had it done? And what did you pay?

I had my seats redone about 2 yrs ago and it was ~1500, something like that. Make sure you get the padding replaced if it's at all questionable. Also, all leather isnt the same; either get a sample or be prepared.
Here is a source for all things interior if you want to price out the pieces yourself.

Had both of my seating surfaces only redone with Nappa (airplane stuff) hyde with white piping for $600. No repairs to padding or vinyl were done. Work was excellent quality and done in Fairfield county, Ct.
