Default SC leaking sticky substance

I just today noticed a couple drops of a sticky, molasses type material on the garage floor under my 82SC. Located in the center in front of the engine, towards the front of the car, just past the rear wheels. I looked underneath the car, and saw a threaded 1/4" ? tube in the center with a hexagonal? nut, which was a bit wet. Was able to get my hand in and wipe it. very sticky substance, like molasses. no smell.
Anybody have any idea what it could be? What is so sticky and viscous?

Please take a picture and show us. I would guess it is just oil.

I know it isn't oil. Been there.done that.Could be CV grease. It doesn't smell. Greasy and sticky.

hmm tough one as sticky and greasy are somewhat opposite descriptions. and if it is greasy it will not drip easily. I would definitely inspect the cv joint boots for splitting/cracking and the bolts for coming out. What colour is it ? I am not sure about this tube and nut either unless it is some type of breather tube.
Definitely a pic is required.

A small section of tubing in the center underneath forward of the rear wheels. My car is lowered about 2" so it's difficult to get to. Will try to get a pic.
The color is amber--brownish. Very sticky in your fingers.More like a grease but has enough drip to it when hot to spot the floor.
