Default Fuchs Question - Again

I'm having a problem posting the link. Maybe you can copy and past to the browser.

Has anyone seen or tried these replica fuchs? Is it me or does something not look right, like the holes between the petals look too small? Or is it just my imagination?

Alternately, I'm looking for 16" x 7" and 9" (8" might be okay) Fuchs with polished lips and black centers (gloss black is my preference, but flat black might be okay).

They don't look correct at all with too much material between the spokes of the wheel. I cannot give an opinion on the quality of these wheels. It's going to be a case of buyer beware. I would never use replica Fuchs on the race track. An autocross would be fine since the speeds are much lower. I would use replicas on the street if I could not find the real thing within my budget. Fuchs in 16x7 are very easy to get. Things get much more expensive at 16x8 and even more so for 16x9's.

Yep..Wheel En....quoted me $1250+ per wheel for 8 x 16 and 9 x 16's. The 7" were $500.
Wow...that is high.

These new 17" replicas )on subydude and pelicanparts websites) look very good, just concerned on the fit and effect they have on the ride of a 88 Targa. It drives great on the current Fuchs wheels I have, but the wheels I have a red insets and polished lips and petals, a bit more flashy than I like, on 6's and 7's...I prefer black middles and polished lips and wider wheels all the way around.

bobbigham, just paint the red on your wheels black. It looks as though you already have the polished areas you want. You'll need to do some prep to get the paint to adhere to the red and the polished petals, but it is very doable.

I actually want to keep the red w/ polished petals for shows...they are done very professionally and are in perfect condition...I need an extra set to put some "phat" tires on for regualr use.

I found some other replicas on Automotion that look much better, I think they were called "euromeister" brand, good price, right size....anyone know these, they seem to look correct.
