Default lug bolt replacement

Is there any way to replace the wheel lug bolts without taking the rear hub apart?

Hi Bruce:

Are you referring to the studs that you attach the alloy nuts to?

911's use studs and nuts; 996's and later use lug bolts,.....

If so, you must pull the stub axle to install new wheel studs and that requires that the axle shaft assembly be removed and a puller used to extract the stub axle. Then, you press out the old studs and press in the new ones.
