Hi All
I've just swapped out my peratune CDi unit for a bosch one I had in a box of spares in order to try and cure a misfiring problem. The bosch unit seems to work OK except that the rev counter is now extremely inaccurate. Does anyone know if there's a modification I have to make or could the bosch unit be faulty in so far as the rev counter is concerned?
Thanks in advance
Adam

Have you tried running the tach wire to the negative side of your coil? It's the black wire with the purple stripe. I just pulled my PermaTune tonight and did this.
Once I buy a new coil I will install an MSD unit and remove my rev-limiter rotor, which kicks in too early.

Sorry for the late reply. I've actually switched back to the permatune unit now that I've found the CDi unit wasn't the problem.
Thanks for the advice
