I purchased a 1985 911 Euro car and the VIN on the Maryland title is only showing 16 digits. I don't have the car yet to confirm (in transit) but was trying to insure and the insurance agency was kicking it back. Does anyone have any insight on euro delivery VIN's? It could just be mistake on the title?

Gotta be 17, just like USA VINs. Better call Maryland DMV and find out if the car carries a salvage title. If the car is a RoW coupe the VIN should read: WPOZZZ91ZFS10XXXX (Xs = serial #).
