If this is a serious question - one can never be sure - then the answer is no.
They're completely different - they're upside down!
That being said, anything can be made to fit... although this would be a project I would consider a bit excessive.
The biggest problem would be retrofitting the G50 or later transmission, to match the hydraulic clutch in the 996.
