Default Need help pricing my 911 Turbo Look UPDATE Page 2

Looking at finally selling my 911 after owning it for the last 13 years. Was hoping that someone here knows the market and can give me a ballpark value on it. It is a 1988 911 factory Turbo Look with 26,000 original miles, never wrecked. I have looked online, but can find little to no information on my car. I even looked in Manheim’s and found nothing. I hope someone here can help me out.
Since I can't post a picture email me please.

look out doug, about 1,000 guys from around the world are formulating a letter right now, to help you with your problem. they are going to offer you about half what it is worth, then list it on ebay and autotrader. they will ask you to store it 'till they can transport it, and sell it with out ever touching the car. it all sound good until the truth comes out. oh ya, then the check bounces, the insurance company comes after you, and homeland security calls from cristal city, VA asking why a container going to a "no trade" nation is registered in your name. sound like a cartoon story 'till you see that unmarked van across the street.

oh ya, keep the car.

Haha, yea just be careful about selling your car. I never let a car go until the cash has cleared in the bank. Someone tried to scam me once, thank god I caught them in time!

You have a fairly rare car, and assuming it's in mint condition to go along with the mileage, I'm guessing mid-30s. These don't come around very often, and by coincidence, here's an ad I just saw on Pelican to give you an idea of the market.

Mid to upper 30's - and hold your price - what color? Cabriolet or Coupe (or even more rare Targa?)

Thanks for the response guys, I tried to post a picture, but cannot due to a low post count. The car is black on black factory original paint with normal signs of wear such as a few rock chips in the paint. It is a coupe. I'll email pics if one of you guys would post them.

In the UK they are going from anywhere between 13k GBP to low 20s. I just sold mine for ~£15k so that would be about $30k I think???

What Jeremy said. Unless you're in a hurry, set a price worthy of your car, and be willing to wait for the right buyer to come along. It will not necessarily happen overnight, but it will...

I thought about selling my 1985 Turbo Look awhile back, the car is in spectacular condition with 55K miles. It has the burgundy exterior and interior. Only reason I thought about selling was to buy a 930 or 965 C2 turbo.

I am looking at of all things a BMW M3 coupe. As fast or faster than my 911 and is easier to drive and better air conditioning. This is nice to have in central Iillinois as our summers get hot and humid.
