CABS RULE! Love it!
My cab came with a new canvas top. Is there supposed to be a liner? If so, know where I can get one?

There is a headliner, but it is between the metal ribs and the top. You probably don't notice it because most people think the ribs should be covered, but it isn't.

oh no here we go again .

it would be interesting to know what our breakdown is on cab vs Targa vs Coupe.

It might be valuable info for our sponsors when it comes to group buy time ..

PS Targas rule .. I had to say it ...

Thanks for the great welcome everyone!
The top headliner makes sense - I will look closer armed with that info.

iceman - I noticed you didn't capitalize Cab like you did targa and coupe -- oops

According to most definitions, a true sports car is topless . . .

Welcome & enjoy.

Another White Cab . . .

Now I know how the other half lives. Not one other topless 911 at the PCA speed event this week end. A couple of boxers but not a single 911 cab. I had the lone cab. I felt out of place. Now what's with the white cab club? Can I be the mascot with the venitian blue metalic. Kinda the ugly step sister to the true white cab. I did look at a white cab about 5 times. It's still at the dealer....Oh I remember a certain fake M505 that was a white cab....is he in the club now? I sign off for a day or two and I'm out of the club...

One more thing while I'm pissed off for being out of the club...................The cars on the concours being judged....who would be soo stupid as to put a daily driver 944 up for judging? my 19 year old "barn find" was ten time the car that one was. It must have been a joke..

some one is going to half to tell me how to download and post pictures on this thing. I have great pictures and don't know how to share.

Oh, and the white cab club...my first, second, and third choice of color was white. Remember it was a birthday present (in exchange for a vasectomy) and my wife has the check book. if i had half the check book my wife has it would be a G.P. white cab. w/linan interior, under a blanket in the barn. in the driveway is a white nissan frontier, white ford e350, and white chevy astro.

oh yah, great choice in porsches. congrats!

cabs vs. targas vs. coupes....lets put it like this....

friday on autotrader i searched for the following:
porsche
911
88-89
100 miles
any $$$
Results were 44 cars

results were 38 cabs!!!! $20,000-$60,000 cabs
there was I think 4 targas and 2 coupes. it may have been 5/1.

now if 50% of all U.S. P-cars were sold into the 5 sothern california counties, were 95% of them cabs?!?

what if i wanted a coupe? I know, I know, coupes are for chickens..yes the kind with feathers..
anyway, good night!
