I removed my rotor and the metal shaft came off with the rotor. I found one spring and put it all back together. It had some surface rust that caused the rotor to get stuck to the shaft.
I want to make sure that it is supposed to only have one spring. It all seemed to go back togeter.
Befoer I start it I want to make sure that the rotor is pointing in the right direction at TDC. Should the rotor be pointing at # 1 cylinder at TDC?

Hi Fred:
Yessir, those have 2 springs (they are different) and Bosch doesn't sell them. You will need to source a used Carrera distributor for parts.
