Post Rapid Fire Directional

A month ago I had white guage faces installed by a trusted shop I've used for years. They look great but...this weekend I started getting an intermittant rapid fire directional when going either right or left. It won't do it stopped (or I can't get it to do it when stopped). I'm thinking either poor connection at speedo during install or failing directional relay. Anyone seen this?

I've seen a rapid turn signal caused by a burned out bulb.

Usually this is the relay/blinker unit. I have had it happen on 2-3 cars before. It is a quick "swap out" fix.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll clean those connections anyway and replace the relay. I was leaning toward the latter, figuring I should only get it on one side were it a bulb, and that it might do it all the time with a failed bulb.
