Hi, what horsepower does a carrera 3.2 make at the wheels and at the crank?

US spec makes 217 crank HP I believe. Euro spec makes 231HP (higher compression pistons).

84-86 makes 207hp @ crank...87-88 makes 217 @ crank...there is a general factor of 15% for drivetrain loss that gets crank to rear wheels...ie 207 @ crank = 176 rear wheels

i have an 85 that i put a SW chip, cat-bypass, and M&K 1in1out muffler...probably all got me to @ 225-230hp @ crank..

For just another set of data points, my factory brochures (US models) list 200 hp, 185 ft lbs for 1984 - 1986. My '87 brochure shows 214 hp, 195 ft lbs.
