Back in the mid/late 80s, my '81 SC was worth about $23000. I wasn't driving it much and craved a Speedster which was going for about the same amount at the time. I thought about selling my SC and buying the Speedster, knowing that my SC was depreciating and the Speedster was appreciating. After considering the performance of both, I decided to keep the SC. Money's not everything.
