It's a great story and sounds like the family are equally excited!
I have just purchased my first Porsche and agonised for years trying to justify it. Finally it was my wife's call! She said "Will you please buy a 911!
What are you going to do, wait until you are 75 and never be able to enjoy it!"
Thank god for understanding wife's.
Enjoy.
Dave.

Hi Gang, Thanks for the beta testing....so it looks like they will NOT work on 911s? Has anyone that I sent these out to tried them and had them work?
They are only going to work if your seat rails are bolted right to the floor (flat). It looks like the 911 have a "step" down in front of the seat. So far, nobody has told me that they will work in a Porsche.
Thanks

'83 911s look like the photos I posted... so unless we bend them to shape they would not work.
I can, if you want, bent one for the 83 and another one for the 996TT so you have the shape needed to work and mail them back.

Birdman... they work on 964's These are 1989-1994 911s. Also on 944 and 944Turbos.
Someone with a 993 (911 from 1995-1998) will have to chime in with a photo of the seat base to determine if they work there... I am almost certain they work there as well.
jimq was just telling me that it was a bit difficult to get the mat to go into the Mat Grabber

I put them in my 964 and seem to work great so far. It was a bit of a pain spreading the prongs to get them over the binding on my mats. Seems like a good product. Thanks!
