I'll be looking at a Targa tomorrow for about 10k, and perhaps another local car for sale soon, but I don't know the asking price.

To ScottB, who posted about the ratty interior, it's mostly caused by the dirty floormat it seems. It's FILTHY.

I did drive the car today. WHile I am not terribly familliar withthe 911's, it seemed to drive very nice. There is one question I have though: I noticed a "sound" coming from the rear.
Is it normal to hear a slight "sloshing" sound from the horizontally opposed engines? Sounded like oil sloshing, maybe. Other than that odd sound, no squeaks, rattles, or shakes that I heard.
I have only driven one other 911 before, so I don't have much to compare it to. It seemed to pull very well, drove straight, stopped well. I did, however, get a slight oil smell when I pulled up to my house so my wife could see it.
Might be going by there tomorrow with a few local 911 guys to pick it apart.
