RUF N.A. Visit
I was in Dallas the other day for a quick day trip and had an hour to burn and went to visit RUF in Dallas....
I have to tell you that for a crew that deals with people that on a regular basis plonk down moolah in the half mil range they greeted me ( I had called ahead to ask if I could stop in and grunt and squeak) like I was there to buy two of everything....Outstanding group of people...answered all my questions and took me on a half hour tour of the shop....
Those of you in the Dallas area should make an effort to go by...I was amazed to hear that the service rate there is 110.00 bux and hour, 20.00 less than Porsche Park Place...had I known this in advance I would have had mine serviced there....
The cars.....man-oh-man. Chub city. Beside me in Green is RUF's answer to the GTR...the 580 HP RTR....it is by far a very cool bit of kit. They had supercharged cars in there, as well as a somewhat banged up/under repair 650 HP TT (orange one in background)...also available for viewing was a engine/tranny on a stand being upgraded to the 650HP option...for the nice paltry sum of 110K...I wanted two, but instead picked up some tshirts...
Anyway...I hope that anyone who has a chance will stop in and say hello...very nice group of people...I might add that my dog Jack managed to run inside when a cust. was on his way out, and instead of freaking (Im sure I was doing enough for everyone, especially when he headed for the tire of a 450K TT on the showroom floor) out they greeted the little turd like he was there to buy.

Grey 911 is a TT w/tipo in custom Ferrari paint....650HP upgrade...450K (jack was looking at tires with sad intent)
Badd Dog 911 4S is supercharged....550 HP ...Boxster on the rack is getting a 3.8 ltr installed....orange 911 is the one that was dinged up...
