Default Targa Top Drip Rails

Anyone ever refinish their drip rails on their Targa top? mine are flaking off pretty good right about now..

Bob:

I had mine powdercoated when my targa top was refurbished a couple of years ago. It was only about $50, for both sides. Looks great, with a very durable finish.

Rob:

I had the “complete Targa top rebuild” done at a well respected local shop, “Ocean Beach Boat & Auto Upholstery”, in Oct. ’04. The Targa top itself was $400, and the side rail powder coating was an additional $40. They subcontracted the power coating to a specialty shop. I believe the turn around time on the powder coating was 3 days, and the whole job took about a week.
