Thank you for the pm. But still no updates. Waiting on the wheels. The word I got from Jeff Alton is :

"Parts go off to the powder coater Tuesday or Wednesday then we get them back, we need to assemble and ship so we are at the whim of the powder coater, but it should not be long now!"

come on Jaime, you post all the time on that other board and we are left to our own devices. Give us something. Heck, post a picture of your fish tank.

Not doing a thing on the car until those wheels (and tires) get here

These other projects has taken my time:

Building a club house with my son:

Concept:

Progress so far:

and this is what makes it all worth it... Daniel is learning how to use the tools, making sure everyone is helping... and he has the rules already written down...

Frustrated mechanic...

Dad had a hardware store and a concrete block factory.... so I grew up learning about construction, plumbing, electrical wiring, working with diesel engines, managing a business, etc...

Formal studies were in Computer Engineering... but always liked Mechanical Engineering better...

Maybe someday, when I grow up, I will pursue what I like best...

A few more... these things in the rear are wide! 14" from border to border.... I don't think 335/35-17 are going to do the trick...

I'm jealous, my 355's won't fit my 15" wide wheels that good...too skinny. Love the project, can't wait to see it progress. Where did you get the body pieces? Looks like some light weight panels!

Wonderful to see another wide wide wide wide widebody Those naked rims rock, even sexier with the rubber, its like lingerie for our cars!

Gabriel,

Timing could have not been better. I was looking at all your threads in Pelican, last night.

Parts are from GT Racing.

I sent you a couple of PMs asking to see if you had additional photos on your build. I need to see any bracing you had to make, how the qtr panels where fitted, any details on how you installed the rear bumper, etc.
