Default GUYS: is this the ORNAL P spark plug wrench?

Greetings to all fine members...helluva' group...glad to be a part of it....

My '89 SA Cab did not come with the original P-tool kit (unfortunately). Recently, someone gave me a kit from an "86 Targa. Included was the posted pic,...stamped "Klein", "21", and "W-Germany"...this appears to confirm my suspicion that it's original but wanted to verify with the "knowing"......

Has this tool "evolved" over the years? Can the rubber insert be replaced easily? (sources?) I noticed that it is NOT magnetic... also,..what exactly is the connection "style" at the top of the tool? Allen?

Commentary/observations, please.......?

Best to all,

PIC BELOW:

That's what the "corrective" post (earlier, by me) was all about......a true slip of the fingers with no Q.A., (apparently),..I now ask forgiveness.......

Thanks for your reply JV911,..best to you and yours',

My '84 has the wrench shown in the pic above. My '90 has a different wrench without the spring. Same concept, but different tool. I have the '90 wrench in front of me and it's labeled "Klein" "16" "W. Germany".

There is a larger allen wrench included in the tool kits that fit into this spark plug wrench. My '90 uses the 10mm 'star' wrench that is used to hold the alt/fan pulleys.

It's a great tool for removing plugs on a 911.

Hope this helps,

Jay

Yes, 10mm hex fits right in the top. It should be in the kit also.

The tool kit is quite handy. 8mm hex for battery braket, seat bolts, CV joints ( - early 1985). A "C-wrench" (?) for holding alternator while loosing nut....
