I too remember this car from Pelican and really wondered why this car took so long to sell. It looks great! I thought it was priced right too...

Good luck!!

Looking forward to seeing pics as work progresses...

I will document any changes here (have been doing that with my other cars).

And yes, plan is to remove them for RS panels in black.

Jamie
Keep me in mind when it comes time to move them, maybe I can squeeze them into my already bloated budget
Thanks

Before you ditch those door panels, could you post what company made them (if you are able to tell from the panel or if you have the paperwork)? I'd love to buy a set of those in black, and cannot fin any other pictures of those except that want ad with this (your) car!
Same car. I really do not think the photos in Pelican did it justice. Also remember that at the time the car had problems with the transmission so I am positive that that + mileage had to influence people staying away from it.

I got a thick folder of invoices for all the service and parts... I will search for the invoice on the panels and post the company that sold them to the PO.

You want just the speaker housing or the whole panel with the speaker housing?? I was going over your post and saw the interior of your car.

The RS Panels use the top portion of the door panel... so I will need those. The rest of the door panel and speaker housing will be available. Let me know exactly what you need.

Jamie won't have head-liner issues Maybe you should leave the Boxster seats in to give you just that little bit of lift Jamie

All in all it looks like a nice car with a few issues. The mechanicals will eat more than a paint job. Hope it works out well for you AND I AM JEALOUS.

Very nice

I like the Fuch center caps- they go very well with the car.

Looks great Jaime! I posted a red RSR in the Rolex thread on the 964 side since you are always talking about wanting a RSR.
Just remember Geoff's little comment when he comes down here again and wants to try out the turbo

Wow congrats you got a great deal! If that would have been a West coast car I would have been very interested. Looks like asking price was $11.5k -what did you negotiate for the final sales price? Did you have a PPI and did it reveal anything new? Congrats again - GREAT FIND.
