Default Drove by black/burgundy 85 911 Coupe FS, in RI

Just went out for a 30 minute coffee run... stopped in at Simon Auto Group's new used lot, where they have a number of off-topic kind of cars ('70 & late '80's 442s, 60's Skylark, 3-series Bimmers, Daytona Ram truck, CLK's, etc.)...

...and a black over burgundy '85 911 Coupe, sunroof, stock exhaust, black fuchs (225's out back), Euro foglight out back, aftermarket stereo & decklid speakers, no rear wiper (but mount point appears there & capped off), Carrera tail & front chin spoiler... ~83k miles on the odo. Forward paint's got the usual road chips, otherwise wasn't noticeably awful or anything. Engine case-half seam area is wet w/ oil. Cat shield is still on, etc.

If anyone's interested, I'll call them on Tuesday to see what they're asking.

Never mind, they want $23k for it. Stock, std steering wheel, leaks, average paint. Nah.

I guess they have added the usual $5,000 dealer mark-up

I literally laughed at the guy on the phone (nobody's at the stealership, they're finishing the building off now, and you have to call the number for the main site down the street for a salesperson).

Did you ask why it is priced $10k over what it should be?

INSKIP has a Blk/Blk 87 targa at their Porsche lot. Didn't get a close look. Don't know the details

After the BS I went through there, I wouldn't ask them to read the time on my watch - it'd require a $13,000 service to my Timex.
