Conversion 911 SC Carrera To 993 Twin Turbo
I will wonder if thre is a good place were I can by a kit and parts to carry out this project.
I recently bought a 911 SC 83 carrera and want to make an up grade to 993 twin Turbo 3.6L.
Locally the Painting and Labor is really cheap.
I also have a good mechanic locally
PD. IT ALREADY HAVE A TURBO LOOK KIT 1984

Why don't you just buy the real thing? I don't mean this as an insult, but it really is depressing to see so many classic 911s being converted to "993 turbo look".

I agree with amir, you are going to spend atleast 10 grand to make to car look like a 993, Please dont ruin that classic look.....if were you, i would sell the car, add the 10 grand and buy a 964 or a 993....Atleast you get the motor too!

This topic is pretty much a personal decision and I wouldn't want to force my particular tastes or values on another. However, I too would caution you to run the numbers. If you're talking about updating a SC to a 993 TT including the 3.6 upgrade as well, then you might be looking at quite a $$$ investment.
It's not just the engine and body, you've still got brakes, suspension, etc. to consider as well. That's a lot of $$$. As previous posts stated, I'd recommend looking at the 964 or best 993 you can afford. But, it is nice to "create" your own perosnall pcar. What the hell, it's only $$.
As for BB, I've heard a lot of good feedback regarding the quality and fit of their products. In fact, I've been weighing the thought of updating my SC to a wide-body look.
Keep us posted on how it goes. Pics too!
