Hey Guys, only just read this thread didn't know you got in touch with him, GREAT STUFF!! I really think they will make the interior more racer boy but not over the top.

Ok, from memory the leather was in really good condition but I didn't sit in them or even touch them to tell you the truth, I had my camera with me so I snapped a couple of pics and Bill told me how he took them out of the car etc. Are you gonna tell us what deal you got?!! Is he redying them for you?

As far as getting the bolts out I would imagine a hex bit on socket wrench with a breaker bar will get them lose, I've been told to take out the fronts first then slide it forward to reveal the rears, not sure if the same applies to your seats.

Anyway, good news on the seats, hope you got yourself a bargain.

Oh and JV, I was up there visiting a sick friend so it wasn't fun and games but hopefully at some point we can all meet up.

cheers

Spence

Actually, I am interested also. The last set - black, decent condition with some pleasant wear patina (no bad stitches or worn through panels) - that I witnessed the sale of went for $2500 + shipping. They were bought by the original owner of a 40K mile '74 Carrera Targa. Also, if you don't want to disclose the price I'm fine with that.
