re: 356D, not THAT original apparently. 356 D was taken. So was A 356 D , so I settled on the 69 thing...
It's really what the car is, though ;-)

And I know what you mean about RAC BRED...I used to have AZ Tags om my 911SC that had RVITUP....people, and I mean more than a few, would ask me what R.V.-ing it up meant...or if I really liked R.V.ing etc etc....Better yet, try explaing Golden Earing, RADRLV and speed traps (my 86 951 Turbo) to anyone without a sense of humor (my ex is an excellent example of same)

I have a plate that reads: KILZ BGS
Though I haven't put it on yet. Not quite sure how I feel about having the word "kills" on my plate. But its supposed to be a take on the Porsche Slogan, "Kills Bugs Fast."

OK, no picture as I won't have plate until Feb. '08. However while I was at the BMV getting a plate and title transfer for my recently purchased '89 Carrera. I asked if they could check the availability of some plates.
Of course first choice was "CARRERA" but I figured there was no way that was available. In the whole State of Indiana no other Porsche owner has reserved this plate. Man, I grabbed that as quick as I could.
So next year I will have "CARRERA" on my license plate. For the life of me I don't understand why it takes so long to get a personal plate. Do other States make you wait this long?

I only had to wait 8 weeks to get my plates here in Kentucky. Which reminds me I need to go pick them up on Tuesday. I'll post pics when I get them
