Default Heater Hose Advice

Have been searching the old posts to no avail. Can someone suggest a good material for heater hose & assorted other hoses on my 83 SC? Seems to be about 3 different varieties available. Would rip them all out to clean up engine compartment, but my car is used for touring only. "She Who Must Be Obeyed" insists on have an operating heater & air conditioning. Any suggestions other than the paper type, as that seems to deteriorate up here in the wet Northwest.
Thanks,
j

For the lower hoses going to the heat exchangers from the control boxes (in front of the engine, below the firewall), I used aircraft grade silicone (orange). Go to your local airport to get them. A lot cheaper and they will last forever....you should be able to get for $10....

For all the others I used the stock from Will at CSP..

After many years of taking deteriorated aftermarket hoses off of cars and replacing them with factory o.e. hoses, I would never consider using anything other than what you get from the Porsche dealer.

A lot of people use aircraft "SCAT" ducting. It's very durable. Here's a link:

Good luck.
