Post Minor Stalling Problem

When it is raining my Carrera stalls when the RPMs drop. I have to keep the revs up while changing gears or stopping until the engine warms up, then the problem goes away and the car runs normally. What could account for this behavior? Thanks.

The only thing I can thing of that's rain related would be if moisture is getting inside the distributor cap. But then it may not fire at all now that I think about it.

Thanks. It didn't rain today but it still stalled once before it warmed up a little. In the rain the problem is worse. In either case, it goes away after the engine warms up--frustrating, but not terminal.
