Hey all,
I am going to take my front bumper off and put on a new smile! How hard is this to do and how long should it take? I will be doing the job with a friend of mine (used to be a BMW wrench) but I also have a flight to catch later tonight. Is this a one hour job, two hour, afternoon with some beers, etc? Any tips?
Thanks everyone!

Jeremy,
DarrylID is on the Pelican Post. He lives in Seattle. He told me he replaced his smile and it was very difficult. Here is his website.

Quote from his website:
"At some point in the car's life it had been towed and everything was just a bit bent out of shape. This became even more of a problem when the front valance was straightened because nothing lined-up and needed to be carefully levered into place using pry bars and floor jacks."
I had my rear bumper off recently and, based on that, PJC's half-day estimate seems reasonable - unless you run into other problems.
This reminds me that the smile on my car deserves to be replaced as well (there's always more money to be spent and more work to do).
