Question european height specs for 86 911 Cab

Does anyone know the european height specs for a 86 911 cab? Is 24.5" ok all around the car on all four wheels?

Thanks
Rick

"European height" is one of those Porsche stats that is sometimes hard to pin down and is a function of how many people you ask.

Your measurement of 24.5" sounds a little lower than "stock" European height. Due to differences in the sizes of the wheel well openings on the 911 Carreras, the height on the front will normally be about 0.5" higher than the rear. This will give the car a slight nose down "rake".

In your case, you might want to raise the front by 0.5" to get the correct nose down angle. Then you would have 25.0" in the front and 24.5" in the rear. With 25" in the front, you should have no bump steer problems. Just my suggestion, YMMV. <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />

My stock height (after 15 years!) was
Front - 26.00 Rear - 25.00

I have now lowered to
Front - 24.75 Rear - 24.25

In case it helps by wheels are stock 16x6 and 16x7 Fuch with 205x55 & 225x50 with no rubbing and no fender rolling.

Cheers
Mark
