Default Cup Holder

I know it is a sin to drink and drive (especially in an old German car) but I find myself in need of a cup of joe on long trips through the desert at night... Any suggestions? Having my uphostery redone right now and am open to various suggestions...

Interesting link.... http://www.ultimatecupholders.com/competitors.html

Get a good stainless travel thingy and keep it between your legs.

Give this link a try. http://www.inventivaconcepts.com/air-1.html I have one and it's pretty handy. Looks good too. It fastens to the end of the the seat track. Installs or removes in seconds!

i forgot whose idea it was ,but i like it enough to suggest it. a roll of duct tape on the floor of the car. sticks to the floor, holds a cup of joe , and bonus, if you need it , you have a roll of duct tape handy.

I bought one of the Fischer cupholders sold at the ultimate cupholder site but haven't installed it yet (still trying to determine how to hang it on the door without making holes). The build quality is as advertised - very nice.

Brewmeister - I just ordered one of the inventia ones. Looks like a great idea.

I have one of the plastic versions of the Fisher but can't bring myself to drill or sticktape the thing into my car. I had one of the R type vent cup holders. It worked ok but eventually fell off with a Venti Starbucks... Not fun.

Just keep in mind that when the cup holder is in use, spirited driving is not
recommended!

Check out the cup holder part # 914091 at automotion.com or in the catalog page 201. It plugs into the lighter socket. It is securely held and is out of the driving space. It blends into the interior and doesn't look obnoxious

I need my cup of coffe in the morning too, and had the same problem. Believe it or not I found the perfect holder at K-Mart. It has three holders with a slim base that slips perfecty between the passenger seat and the parking break. It is black plastic and at looks like it was made to be there. Cost: $3.95. Funny thing is there is a guy on E-Bay selling the exact same holder as a custom Porsche cup holders for $15.00.
