Got nailed from behind while sitting at a red light in my '81 SC on Friday. It was a hard enough hit to move the car, even with my foot on the brake. The only damage was a broken (plastic) license plate trim and some slight scratches on my less than perfect rear lid. I cut the guy a break because he was a volunteer fireman returning from an accident (that I was detoured around). He obviously needed some sleep, and offered to pay for any damage. Thank god for German engineering!
