What's worse; that somebody built it or that somebody has bid over $20K to buy it?
It looks to me like someone caught it on fire and then tried to put it out with a golf shoe.

It is probably a good thing I don't have giant stacks of money around, because just like some folks take in abused animals to restore them to health, I would probably open up a Abused Auto Rescue Foundation to retrieve that car (regardless of high bid), provide it a safe place for rehab/recovery before sending it out to the real world with a sponsor.

What I want to know is what shows is he winning with that? I think he is probably beating out all of those "rice rockets" at the local mini-mall for his "Best in Show!" Does that roof scoop even go anywhere? Has anyone heard of this famous engine builder? Why would you paint it baby $hit brown? I am so lost for words.....I just can't go on anymore!

It certainly is stunning. What's even more stunning is the 21 bids.

Man, I was worried that it was going to cost me a bunch to ship it home, but it is only 20 minutes down I-25. I just hope I can keep it under 200MPH on the way home.

Thumbs up

Next up - a V-8 conversion : ) As for the fins....they make the car streamlined for "action"...a nod to the 50's finned icons and a hot rod era he has so well interpreted? Except for it's the 70's and he's inadvertently ingested the brown acid from Woodstock (like 30 hits) by accident when he mistook an old vile for visine.

This is like an ugly baby .. you don't want to but you just have to look .. and I wasn't dissapoited ... or I was depending how you look at it . Holy Crap what a freakin mess. at least the engine looks good if you take off the shroud and fan .. and the disco coil, ..oh well . I am trying to find some positives somewhere.

I googled AL CANTELMO and came up empty except for a partially restored 928 that was for sale in North Carolina in 2005.

Ad has been updated with new information that should make you reallly want to buy it now. He had a ruptured appendix over the weekend and so really needs to sell it. Better jump now before it is too late or he has some other serious medical issues. I am working on custom coffee can exhausts, alcantra seat inserts, and scissor doors and I have some acid indigestion so I can't buy it myself right now. But I am sure that Al's Famous Porshce Engines and Storm Door Company produced a top notch motor that is well over 300bhp so right there it is worth the reserve.

I kinda like the mud flap IN FRONT of the wheel that calls attention to the wide body. That sort of thing should come stock in my opinion.
