Are these two symptoms related (brakes lights/ dead battery)??
I went to go for a drive the other day in my 85 911 and noticed that the battery was dead after only sitting a day or so. After a boost it ran well... I then was informed my brake lights did not work. Could these symptoms be related to one another? A few days prior to this I had a rear bumperette off to clean the licence plate light housing which was corroded. Could I have unplugged something that is now shorting out causing the battery to die??
I am going to take a look on the weekend but wanted to see what the board thought to give me a head start
