No instrument light in my 79 SC
It's all black, I don't know what has happened. Everything else works fine on the car, all outside lights, the radio, the lighter, the indoor lights (that come on whe n you open the door) etc.
The instrument lights have worked before. I tried to figure out if it is a fuse that needs to be changed. But from the manual and the instructions in the fusebox none seems to match... Are the instrument lights perhaps all connected in serial so that it could be a bulb that's broken?
Any ideas that could help me, please bring them on

Tommy: If the rheostat built into the pull/push light switch is turned to off, and the switch **** is loose, you won't be able to turn on the instrument lights. First, easy check - pull the light switch to the on (out) position. Look at the shaft the **** screws on to, it will have a small hole in it. Insert a dentist pick or similar into the hole and use your fingers to tighten the **** clockwise while holding the shaft with the tool. Hopefully it was loose and you're all set!
