Steering feel is goofy...
I have an ’86 911. After a little spin off the track, I noticed that when I turn left in a corner, I can feel a little “notchy-ness” in the steering wheel. When I unwind the wheel, it feels like something is binding and I have to give it a little more pressure to get back to wheels pointing straight. It only does it when I am taking a corner somewhat hard, it feels fine in the paddock. I jacked up the front and it feels fine. I can’t see anything bent or broke. Turning right is normal. The car has the usual track mods. I did change wheels/tires with no difference.
Any thoughts?

Maybe the left side of the steering rack got bent a little? I'm assuming that the cover plate is still intact that protects it from the elements. How about the tie rods? Look okay? I would get her up on a lift and then try to feel for something when the weight is off the wheels. If nothing there I can't imagine what else could be the cause.
