Just got a new/used 911 (1999). Gas gauge doesn't register full when the tank is filled AND rain sensor isn't sensitive enought. Dealership says nothing's wrong. Any help out there?
I'd invite you to post your question again on the water cooled section of Rennlist under the 996 board. The folks there might be able to help you more quickly than we can on this board.
This particular board is for 1965 to 1989 911's. You're always welcome here, but us old school guys may not be able to help you as much.
Ok, guys just had the same thing happen but right after I cleaned the drivers side, rear wheel well, the car only has 7640 miles on it, so it is imperative that I retain the correct speedo and not alter that, my question is, could me cleaning that wheel well and under body have loosened or gotten a cable to wet for the odo to function, speedo continues to function.....
