Early 911 engine grille emblem question.
I was given a mint 2.4 badge recently and seeing that the big bore 2.0L 914 engine in my 912 displaces 2.4L, I wanted to stick it on my engine grille for fun. The problem is, there's no pins (or anything) on the back of it so I'm left wondering if these were glued on (not too likely) or what.
Anyone know for sure? This is the perfect excuse to run out to the garage and pop the lid on your early 911! Thanks!

exc911ence & MPLS73Targa - I just happen to have a engine grill from a 73 I think with the 2.4 badge on it. I went to the garage to remove it and it just so happens on this one there are 4 small pins on the corners that fasten to the grill by way of 4 small holes. These hole do not go all the way through the grill. It is a pressure fit. I am not sure if this true for all badges but it was for this original one. I would think a little dab of glue of sorts would hold the badge on just fine also. I took pictures of the badge but I am unable to post as I cant find my Rennlist Member#. If I find it I will post pictures.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies guys (on this and the Pelican Parts forum, Jack!) My badge has no pins but since it'll be going on a 69 grille with no receiving pad, I doubt it'll matter. I've decided on the industrial strength two-sided tape route. I'll post pics once it's done!
