A funny thing happened to me. My AC has been working about average (moderately cooling.) Recently I had it on and made a fairly brisk right turn on a long on ramp and bits of foam flew out from the AC vents onto my crisp white shirt
. Then I felt one cool droplet (condensation??) on my right foot. Then the AC started blowing really cold and now it blows ice cold all the time...so much to say I have to turn it down to 2 or 1 even in 90 degree heat. What the heck happened?? 85 Carrera

I had that happen on my non AC car. I originally thought it was pieces of the engine sound pad breaking up and coming through, but i have since been told it is the flapper door seals breaking up , it could have been blocking yourr vents now it is free, or blocking some other area. I never did take mine apart as it looked pretty complicated with all the cables but if ou do take yours apart snap a couple of pics for me ..
