Default CV Boot Ripped-Trackable?

I just found out my inside passenger rear CV boot is ripped.

It is a slit about 1/2 inch. I figure it ripped at my last event at Watkins Glen. I see some of the CV grease on my muffler and starter. Not a lot.

Can I make four DE runs?? Can I cause alot of damage if I do run and the joint fails? Is it dangerous?

Thanks in advance

John

NEVER take a car to the track when it is less than perfect.

Yes, it could be - for you AND the other folks on the track.

A cv joint boot is a couple of hours work .. you can do it right in your driveway.
