Default Doing bump steer kit - just double checking.

Ok, messing with the steering makes me a bit nervous (more than the shocks, torsions bars and tie-rods), so check me here:

According to my Bentley manual the torque specs for the bolts on the bottom of the steering rack are 35 ft/lb and the universal joint bolts are 15 ft/lb. Sound right?

Thanks.

I did, and I was about to get an alignment when I realized that the bump steer kit might change the alignment. So off goes the dreaded skidplate again (I hate that thing, I can never get the rear facing bolts back in) to finish installing the kit.

instead of answering your question, can I ask why you have to mess with the univeral join bolt? Do you mean the + join in the trunk near the AC fan?
I did my rack bolts at 36ft/lb
