Default Lithium grease for torsion bars?

I am about to put my torsion bars and radius arms with new Neatrix bushings back in the car.

I have some Valvoline general purpose grease with No.2 grade lithium. Can I use this on both the bars and bushings?

Thanks.

For what it's worth, I used white lithium grease on all my bushings, including the Neatrix ones, and even added it to the torsion bar splines before reassembly. It's been a couple years now and not one squeak.

I use OMC boat grease for torsion bar splines and stock bushings. There are a couple of threads going right now about torsion bar splines frozen to spring plates due to rust, and the boat grease probably resists intrusion by water better than average grease. It's hard to say if it will help 20 years down the road, one would assume that any grease will resist water, but the boat grease is designed to be more resistant. Plus, it's a really cool dark turquoise color.

you can save yourself some trouble later on by packing the space between the arm-side of the t-bar, outside the bushing with blue silicone goo to keep the water out.

Eric - can you describe that area more specifically? Front bar or rear for example? And how far outside the bushing?

Also, I wonder if an EP grease is a good idea? (they usually have Moly in them). I can't remember what I did last time I was into the Tbars on my car. ....

rear bars.

the idea is to seal the 'cap' portion of the arm so no icky stuff gets in.
