Targa Tops
Does anyone know what year targa top will fit my 1969 911E? Mine is looking pretty ratty and I have seen a 1985 targa for sale and was hoping it would work.

I believe you are out of luck on this one.
Here is the list (with thanks to Dan at CarsInc.):
67-68 Heavy frame thick arms, weird side seal, hook latchs, 2 steel rear pins, fine grain vinyl
69-73 Two rear steel pins, hook latchs, std side seals, fine grain vinyl
74-85 Plastic center pin, plastic covered rear pins, hook latchs, tops were slight differents in early years but they all fit, std side seal, pebble grain vinyl
86-89 Roller latch, thick frame, 3 rear pin, std side seal, pebal grain vinyl
90-94 Roller latch, different frame, different side seals, different rain gutters, pebble grain vinyl
