I presently have the stock Fuchs on my red targa. While I like the classic look, I'm looking to get another set of more modern wheels that will go with the car. I want to stick w/ a black center and chrome lip. Will 17s fit, or must I stay w/ 16s? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi there,
Fuchs wheels only were made in 14",15",16". To go to 17" you will have to go to a different design. Watch your unsprung weight on each corner when consdiering new wheels. Ones such as cups are nice looking but much heavier than your original fuchs. For example: I ended up choosing Fikse FM5 17" wheels for my purpose built 911S3.6. They are only a couple pounds heavier ( FRONT: fuchs 7x16=14 lbs; fikse 7.5x17=16 lbs;( REAR: fuchs 8x16=14.5 lbs; fikse 9x17=17 lbs) than the stock fuchs, and look similar with the five paddles-they do come in black also. Very sturdy, forged, lightweight. Wheels such as cups are cast not forged, and weight upwards of 20+lbs each (please check I don't have the data anymore) Watch that unsprung corner weight! Godd luck,
Nick
