need help pricing a car
It is a 1987 cabriolet, one owner 31k miles. New top and tires last year. All original and stock California car. Blue over grey.
I was thinking in the range of $25k to $30k.

If it's concours quality (essentially dress the tires and take it to a show and place in the top 3 of the chosen class) and in excellent mechanical shape, I can see $30k or more for this car. If she's got some minor issues, then maybe the $25k to $28 range might be a selling point.
Again, as g-50 states above, geography plays a role in pricing.

If he is trying to sell the car he would not want to bring the price of the car up after listing it with no success!
High 20's low 30's for this car should be a good selling point.
Look around you and see what cars like your's are going for.
