You will get the full range of opinions about buying cars on ebay...especially Porsches. That considered the car appears nice, and the owner seems to have been straight forward in his descriptions of the good things, and things that need attention. The price seems reasonable IF the car checks out, which means a PPI by a Porsche specialist. If it seems to be what you are looking for, and you are willing to make the effort to check it out...it appears from the add to be a decent car...but as my grandpa said, "appearances can be deceiving". I have bought many items on ebay with good success, but not a car yet. I'm sure there are members here and on the Pelican forum who can advise you with that. Good luck.

If you have the means by which to personally inspect the car, THEN get the PPI.
This of course means;
If the cost to inspect the car plus the purchase price is more than you are willing to spend, then move on to a car that is closer to you, less money, etc.
It appears to be well taken care of, but without an inspection only the worst can be assumed, so bid accordingly.

ebay cars
I just bought an '87 from kansas on ebay w/out seeing the car, only dealer ppi The car was better than advertised. My son and I drove it 1200 miles back to Pa. in two days Maybe I was lucky,but good deals do exist!!!
