Default Best price/brand engine gasket kit?

Looking at purchasing an engine gasket set including cylinder base gaskets..is there a best quality set and who has the best price? I see Pelican has a set for $284.00.. about right?

Thanks!

Rob

You rippen your engine apart ? sonds like a good project. I get excellence and see a fair number of adds for these. I would suggest going th chapters and perusing these. Not sure if Vertex has them they are in Miami

Kinda! not going all the way apart but just enough to make a damn mess.. trying to stop some leaks..apparently coming from base of the cylinder heads..maybe a few other places too.. so.. gonna replace a bunch along the way just in case..front seal appears to be leaking as well..maybe the oil return tubes..could be more.. dunno.. so.. here comes the kit!!
