Default 911 wheels

Were there ever Fuchs in sizes 8x15, and 9x15, and if so, did they
only fit turbo's? I'm sure this has been asked 100 times, so thanks!

won't you try a search in "wheels/Tires in the GENERAL FORUM...look to the space on the left with all the forums displayed.

Yes,--Porsche made them in 8x15 and 9x15. They're rather rare as they quickly up-sized to the 16 inch diameters.

8x15's were readily available by Porsche and used as the "base" rear wheel on the 3.2 Carreras till 1987 or 1988. They were also used on SC's and 944's. 9x15's were (and are) NOT readily available. They were used on racing 911's in the 1970's. Early Turbos ran 7's and 8's. It wasn't until Porsche went to 16" wheels that the 9" width was available.

The tough part with 15" wheels is tire availability. There just aren't many options.
