Default sunvisor install advice needed

My headliner was replaced before I got the car ('75 no s/r) and there are no clues as to where the visor mounts are. Any hints? I don't want to trash the headliner!

Thanks

They are right at the corner of the windshield. I would use a fine needle to probe through the headliner to 'find' the two holes that are found at each side,--and then, once those are located, allow the placement of the visors to help you find the harder to place reference ones,--near the top center of the windshield.

art: Try to find the bearing (support) locations with your fingertips - gentle pressure. Next, hold up the appropriate visor, complete with bearings, where you think it should go (the left one should clear the rear view mirror, but if the mirror's not in the right place you really can't use it for reference), and see if you can locate a screw hole, again with your fingertip. Because of the risk of damage you probably want to find a car that uses the same visors that you have and make some measurements that you will understand how to repeat on your car. Tricky problem, good luck with it.

Thanks for the input. I have a friend with an SC, are they the same?

They should be exactly the same.

I think so. Are your visors the swing to the side type - two screws in the outboard mount, a single screw for the inboard?
