Below are two pics of my 78SC. The first is one of the sale pics from West Coast Autosport back in December, the second is the current condition. I've tried to keep it tasteful, (H4s, chin spoiler, 7/8 wheels). Just did the entire body in Zymol HD cleanse followed by Klasse wax and Finisher.
On the mechanical front I just removed the cat and might do a new muffler (I just discovered a rust hole in it). The front end/steering was a mess. It's getting new Turbo tie-rods and upgraded torsion bars (to work with the lower ride height I like).
I finished the interior with a new Blaupunkt CD player and speakers and did a custom dash cover myself to cover the cracks in the flat portion of my dash.
That leaves the a/c which is currently non-operational. I am reading all I can to get a good idea what is involved in that project.
I really appreaciate the help I have received from this board. I wanted a 911 since I was a little kid growing up in Germany. It took 46 years to get there.

The HD Cleanse helped some areas. I am going to try a clay bar on more stubborn spots. Overall it's a great looking 28 year old car - I am not trying to create a concourse 911.

Nice job, Ulrich! Your SC is gorgeous ...and one of my favorite colors ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
BTW, I know all about the "delayed gratification" of finally getting your dream car. I "finally" got mine mine almost 6 years ago and still feel like I've won the lottery everytime I see her. And now I am fortunate enough to have my Trackmeister, an 82SC. Life is good, eh? Enjoy in good health!

The paint looks new again.
I started using the Klasse products on my cars a few months back and really like the results.

You're the RIGHT kind of 911 buyer. You buy a fairly stock car and then don't go nuts with extras (that ultimaely detract IMO). Nice job!

Your car looks gorgeous! It's amazing how those things (H4s, 7 & 8s, chin spoiler, etc) can really transform the appearance of these cars. Great job!
